Aloha hoop friends! Since my last post, I’ve been to Florida and back, rebuilt my website from scratch, and created a brand spanking new second website just for you…it’s called Hooper Helper.

In other news, last night I had the pleasure of performing at the Rotunda for Poet-tree en Motion. My friend Shannon got me a pair of hot pink fluffy legwarmers and took this video…

I used to be anti-fluffy, but they sort of grew on me.

Holy Hoop Hizzle

Aloha hooperstars! This week I was so busy preparing for the audition and making hoops and I ~~forgot all about this blog~~ wanted to really focus on nailing my routine.

Lots o’ hoops going out to their new homes today!

The house is a hot mess, as you can see if you care to peek behind the scenes in this video…

So some organization is in my very near future. How do you organize your hoops and supplies?

I’m super thrilled to be teaching hoop dance to 19 little Brownie girls this afternoon at St. Pius X in Broomall.

A HUGE thank you to y’all because I sold almost ALL of the polypro hoops I made this week….lots more tubing is on the way!

It’s going to be a family-filled weekend, so I hope to catch up with you on Monday.

Hooping binges in Beautiful places

Hoopy Monday hoop friends! At least 8 non-consecutive hours of my weekend was spent hooping. I’m preparing for an audition (more details to come). In my next post I’ll be sharing how you can prepare for an audition.

I also got to spend time in some really beautiful indoor spaces, including the Historic Lansdowne Theater where I took pictures of Chad’s band, Arizona Lights…

This morning I got up at 5:30am and had Ziggy at the vet by 6:30am for a teeth cleaning. Poor dude had to have 4 teeth removed. As soon as I can pick him up I’m going to spoil him with healthy treats.

It’s been so boring without him here today.

Aloha hoop friends! Today is going to be super busy so here is a quick photo dump from my phone from the last few days…

We pet-sitted for Minnie, aka Stimpy, while my parents were in Florida.

Yesterday I took Brad Rufio Goldberg’s advanced hoop dance workshop at the Torrent Collective in Philly. It was great! I’m super excited because I learned how to do this move that I’ve been wanting to learn forever, and goes great with 90′s hip hop music:
